ha
I have no muffler, just custom made auminized steel from the cat to the rear bumper cut out of my car.
Its a 2.1 non-turbo.
My car came to me with a cheap exhaust on it, a factory "style" replacement for the original. It was all clamp together.
I drove it on a 5hr road trip and the pipe coming from the muffler going to the resonater seperated, broke the rear hanger and fell off. My car stayed like that for a long while...untill last week when it came time to go get the emissions tested. Gotta have a tailpipe for that!
I had the exhaust shop just tear the whole thing out (cat back) and make a custom all welded strait cat back system.
Its great, I love it. It idles powerful but quiet and just sounds like a sport exhaust up to 3400 RPM and any throttle %. Above 3400rpm with full throttle it sound like a bomb has gone off, and continues to go off
needless to say, I drive it much easier now...as to not set off "the bomb", which is great because I need to work on my traffic record.
