the 91 SE convertibles was only available in two colors: platana gray (kind of a silverish lighter gray) and yellow. There are only 600-something of these cars in the US. There are two platana gray ones for sale in the classified section (for a picture reference). They came with SPG trim, so that coupled with the color combo is the difference. They are quite desireable to Saab lovers due to their rarity. The problem is half the people selling 1991 convertibles mistakenly advertise their car as an SE, when it's just the regular turbo convert. Check autotrader to see what I mean. Another common mistake is to refer to the SE as the "SPG Convertible", which it is not since it didn't come with the SPG APC box or suspension. However the SPG performance upgrades were installed on some of the SE's at the dealers. I have a platana gray SE convert, but I don't have any pictures uploaded anywhere to show.
