One of those days...

Yesterday I go to replace a front engine mount, rear caliper and both rear roters on my 89 turbo. I figured about 3 hours. 13 man hours later (I had a pal come over and start wrenching as well) it's still not done.
It started bad with me having to grind off the studs to remove the skid plate so I could jack up the front of the engine and went down from there. Stripped the lower torx head on the right cooling fan so I had to pull the whole dang radiator to get out the mount. In total stripped 3 screws, snapped 3 bolt including the stud that holds the intercooler in place, rounded 2 nuts (I used 6pt wrenchs on them)and the best of the day was the wheel guide pin that screws into the roter. I fussed with it for an hour even grinding flat spots so vice-grips could dig in which only resulted in more scraping before just grinding the whole thing off.
Then I find out I should have bought 2 new calipers... sigh.
