That seems a bit high, I'd think $8000 to $9000 would be more like it. With miles that low the books aren't too useful and you just have to compare it to what else is out there. You can typically get a '91 with 100K for more like $4,000--you could do a lot of repairs for the $7000 difference in price. Keep in mind that age and sitting a lot can have an effect on a car as much as driving. Also, spring is the worst possible time to buy a convertible since demand is high and they have the whole summer to sell it. Same car, same dealer in November and it would be a very different picture--they'd cut you a real deal. If you are just looking for something to drive weekends in the summer, I'd look at something with higher miles without the premium price. These car will last 300,000 miles if you keep up with repairs, so paying big bucks for a low mileage is necessarily the best move. Put 40,000 miles on it and it's worth $4000.
