Help, has anyone had these symptoms before?

Help, I have a 1990 Saab 900T that is making a slight noise/vibration at lower speeds especially when coming to a stop or coasting slowly. I tried to determine where the noise was coming from. I jacked up the car and rotated the wheels and listened, but couldn't really determine anything. I tried the coasting and swaying side to side... nothing. I just replaced the front wheel bearings because I noticed grease spots around the wheel and thought maybe one of the wheel bearing seals had leaked. I was doing some other maintenance anyways (one CV boot was starting to show a little cracking, both inner CV boots and grease, new brakes and rotors all around)and thought one may be bad. Got it all back together and I still have the same symptoms. It seems that braking enhances the vibration. It feels like a brake pad completely worn through grinding on a rotor (but not as bad. Any ideas? My left CV joint was a little stiff and does not feel as smooth as the right one (the left one is the one I replaced the boot and grease), I am wondering about the rear wheel bearings now, but don't want to keep replacing parts even though I love to work on the car. Any ideas? I have read many of the posts about wheel bearings and they seem hard to diagnose unless they are really bad. Thanks!
