Guys- Can someone give me a hint regarding removing the shifter boot? The manual isn't clear and nothing gives easily if I slide a screwdriver under the lip. I'd rather take a little time and see what y'all can tell me before I start prying harder- got enough parts to buy now w/o causing more death and destruction.
My ignition switch gave up the ghost at the Zippy Mart down the street about an hour ago- knew I should have ordered the part last week.... Bentley talks about disconn battery, removing driver's seat, etc. to get console out! Is that really the drill? Any help provided is appreciated.
Regards- Bill
