Okay..so I've come to terms with the fact that my car was made by robots from Mars...getting the voltage regulator off my alternator has proved to be the most trying thing I've come across in some time. I've taken off the v-belts to the alternator, and tried rotating it to the wheel well, only to run into a Master Cylinder and a bunch of vacuum lines. No matter how much I try to flop the damn alt., there's no room. I'm going to try to take the A/C compressor off, and get at my alternator in another way...I need to replace the screws on the volt.reg., too, because, like Saabpilot, I too have boogered up one of the screws (damn flat head pieces of ... ) Anyways, if anyone has any more suggestions for getting the alternator out, please post...It looks like I'll be in the garage all day today... :(
