Thanks Brian! My timing chain is making some VERY loud slapping noises in my '91 9kT (300k though!!).
Just ordered all the parts last week, $563 worth.
Timing chain, 4 guides, lower sproket, cam sprokets, balance "kit" that includes chain, guides, tensioner, and all sprokets....
Time to put her on the lift, and rip into her guts...Also going to drop the oil pan and clean out what 300k has done to her. Going to mod the oil pickup while in there as well....
I should be at the next meeting this comming month, school starts up on the 23rd...egh
