Easiest thing to do is keep the stock injection/ignition system and adapt the 16v to the 8v setup. As far as the injectors go, keeping the 8v intake manifold and bolting it directly to the 16v head. From there the exhaust manifold, knock sesor and other things will/should bolt right up w/o many issues.
I have a '84 16v NA running on CIS injection here at the shop...Dam thing runs simply awesome too!
