Reliable? Newer ones, yes...older ones as well if they have been kept up. Repairs?...figure an independant saab tech will charge about $45-50 an hour.....Old saab typical repairs usually include shocks, brakes, cooling system parts, exhaust system, you can usually get away with not spending a fortune on that stuff. The new saab (late models) chances are you wont really have to worry about the stuff for a long while...just basic maintinance. Good in the snow? From my experiences (I Live in Nothern Maine...sever winter weather here)....with 4 studded snow tires, they go through snow and ice like a champ, seriously, they handle great in snow, and are pretty safe cars. I would reccomend buying one, I have owned 5 different 1980's model Saab 900's, and one 2000 9-3 SE and loved them all...great cars. Good luck :)
