I really don't think it's a inner driver-it doesn't vibrate-it "thunks" when turning right-but it could be called "clicking"-it's just a little deeper than the CV click my father had on his 9000-I also know it's not a wheelbearing.
So-if the tripod goes-and you looose a few spline bearing in there-that can damage the Driver-it looks like I'll be finding out what it is before I order any more parts :)
