since I already have most of the stuff off the turbo I can agree the oil seal is baked on and the inlet hole was pretty coated. its probably not a bad idea to take the entire line off and run some degreaser through it and make sure its as clean as can be before the reinstall.
the best design would be to oil cooled with a seperate oil cooler to keep things in line.
being it is coolant cooled, could a worn out turbo cause you to eat coolant? for awhile i actually would go down coolant but it was'nt a leak in the heads and to this day I have no idea where it was going but it somehow stopped on its own. hmmm?
