Difficult to say about the radio - it got stolen a few months back and haven't had a chance to replace it. (Hey, did you hear about the guy whose heater switch wasnt connected but whose mechanic insisted there was nothing wrong with an earlier repair - "always some hot air blowing..." - good news was that with the dashboard ripped apart by the burglar I could feel inside with my arm and then stomp back into the mechanic and insist he reattach the arm. But I digress...)
I do not recall the blower turning off (and it happened at day so no lights). But the car did have a new ignitionkey installed a couple of months ago. I will also confirm with the mecahnic that he did install a new hall effect sensor in the new distributor.
I recall that there wsa also some kind of cut-off switch if you drive the car too far into the high rpm zone. If so that could have gone bad and be cutting off too early. Is that the Hall effect switch?
thanks, John
