I took two c900 intercoolers, removed the plastic endtanks, and ground down the bits that held the endtanks on. Then, I drew up an endtank design, took it to an industrial fab shop, and had them bend up a pair of them for me. Next step is to have it all welded together. What I'll end up with is a front-mounted intercooler comprised of the two cores set side-by-side. When done, it will install via the grill; no bumper removal or cutting metal necessary, as with a 9000 intercooler.
