Brake Master cylinder Posted by DAnH [Email] (#1513) [Profile/Gallery] (more from DAnH) on Sat, 13 Nov 2004 17:38:18 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have been advised by the past owner of my 89 SPG that the brake master may be "slipping". not knowing much about brake systems I have come to the conclusion that the brakes work just fine. Although time and time again (atleast once per driving session) the pedal sinks deeper to recieve the same stopping power as I would with a more light foot. Does that make sense?
In the back of my mind I have the hypocondriac feeling that its going to go out on me and I'l lbe left using the e-brake in the slow lane, stranded.
IF bringing my car to a professional SAAB tech, how many hours would it take to replace the cylinder? and, should mine be replaced?
thank you,
DAnH
