Pull the cage for the CD/Equalizer. The red and yellow cables MUST be connected to have radio function. (Unless you get a shorting connector from Wasyl to fool the radio into thinkingthe EQ is connected)
The red cable, according to saabradio, commumicates this status to the head unit. Mine were all connected securely, or so I thought. When I pushed the CD cage in, it seems all the excess cabling caught on something and created a very loose connection. Now there are supposed to be plastic locking rings that hold the connections tight. I was missing one of those dohickys. So I made sure the cable connection was tight, and taped it in place w/ electrical tape.
When I installed the cage I made sure there was no stress on the cable. Powered up for 20 minutes, entered the code, and voila' Tunes! still no antenna switching, but I do have tunes.
Check tthe cable connections on both ends and make sure the plastic locking rings are holding securely!
