1990 SPG fuel pump went out in 2002 at around 120k or so. Parked the car in front of my house and it wouldn't start later. Good thing it was not on the road! Thanks to Jim at Sobstory I only shelled out about $80-100 in parts.
1994 C900TC CE fuel pump went out at Oakland Airport Economy Parking at around 77k. I tried to jump with a SUV dude who parked near me, no luck. AAA arrived, tried a jump, nothing. Towed to the TSN mechanics' list shop near me with AAA. I had 3 days between that mexico trip and a trip to China, so I had to go to a mechanic. No DIY diagnoisis, parts ordering, and fix-it time... That was one expensive venture!
Off to China one more time this year on Sunday...
