burning oil, loss of power

Where do i begin?
Last week, I noticed a significant amount of oil on the turbo one day after work when I started my car. the oil burned off and that was that, but i assumed the turbo seals had gone after running my turbo hard for the last year. i spent the weekend rebuilding the unit and when i started it, i assumed there would be a little burn-off time. this was Sunday, here it is three days later and its still burning tons of oil. Its not constant but it comes and goes, and when it is burning, its alot. I also noticed a louder than usual tapping noise and using the screwdriver/ear technique I narrowed it down to cylender 3 or 4. i also noticed Cylender 4 leaking fuel at the injector o- ring. The first two days after the rebuild I had great power (12 psi), but after that, I havent been able to get much higher than base boost (5 psi) takeoff from the line is also much more sluggish than usual. I disconnected the knock sensor to see if that was the problem and no luck. i have no idea where to start, i see its not the turbo seals, and I did notice some burned oil on sparkplug 1 during the rebuild.
where do i start??
thankx in advance
Chris
