An old rule of thumb that I heard when working in a gas station decades ago was that the tire shouldn't be more than 2 inches wider than the rim.
When I had a 900, it had 15 x 5.5 rims or 5.5 inches wide. So the tire should be a maximum of 7.5 inches. Converting inches to mm, 25.4 x 7.5 = 190.5. So you can cheat and do a 195 tire (e.g. 195/60HR15). My old 900 had 185/65-15 tires which I eventually changed to 195/60HR15
