i have read posts, on another board, of some who have used 9000 front seats in their C900. IIRC, the entire driver's seat was used, the skin and upholstery were stripped from the passenger side seats and swapped, stitching the 9000 padding and leather (or cloth, as the case may be) onto the framework of the C900 seat. a small cut is required to allow the (for lack of a better name)'flip forward' switch to move.

this allows for rear seat access for cargo or passenger loading, via passenger side, while giving those privileged enough to ride in front the extra comfy padding. i believe that some 9000 seats include lumbar support adjustment as well as a 'memory' setting. some modification of the mounting brackets may be necessary, though i would measure the seat rail width to be sure that any adjustment would have to be made to the seat itself rather than to the vehicle's brackets.

i believe the 9000 seats are a bit wider as well. modification of the center console may be necessary to allow clearance for easy adjustment and a squeak free ride. i have not done any reasearch on this swap myself, though it is one i have vaguely considered and i believe that it may be possible to simply alter the height of the rear part of the center console, as the entire plastic piece is certainly wider at the bottom than it is at the top, simple lowering of the narrowest point may leave enough room.

the 9000 seats may be a bit deeper too. if you tend to sit with the seat near the rear end of its adjustment, what little room there may have been for passengers at the present may become nonexistent.
