I have had two crankshaft pulley failures, both at about 70K. Given that a crank pulley is about $80 mail order, that's a tough one. I probably wouldn't do it, as I think it's more time than mileage, and 4 years is pretty young. You've probably got another 3-4 years out of that pulley, and by then, the car is 20 years old. Now, if you're leaking oil from the main seal, that tends to eat pulleys.
