89 engine into 88 spg

If I rebuild an 89 turbo engine and put it into an 88 spg (using the existing hardware off the 88 spg, will I have problems with the AIC (et al) from the 88 engine harness and accessories on the rebuilt 89 engine? I.E. If I buy new replacement parts, do I buy for the 88 accessories (AIC, etc) peripheral components in the car or for the 89 transplanted engine?
Thanks!
Pete
