Not a whole lot if any difference between those two. The '94's were produced in '93 anyway.

I own a '94T-conv. auto trans. I LOVE that car! Wish it was a 5 speed but the auto is nice around town. If you read this board....most will condem the auto trans but....it is about as reliable as the 5 speeds...if taken care of. Check the fluid on the two you are comparing...any brown color or burnt smell, run. Fluid should be a nice, bright, pinkish/red. I change the fluid at every oil change, or I change as much as will come out, about 2.5 quarts. This is after the initial complete fluid change. Keeps fresh fluid circulating.

Problem rust areas are the same as you have experienced with your other 900. Fender seams (front and back), front box frame area, inner door bottoms, front bumper attachment extensions....check all of these areas closely.

Many of the parts are interchangable between the newer car and your '88...not everything, but enough that it may be adventagous to keep the '88 around for canabalizing.
