Before I would add an oil cooler, I would make sure I did everything to lower the engine temp naturally, like water temp first. All 3 Saabs that I have owned ran hot when I bought them (2/3 on the gauge). Some needed new radiators, but I got the water temp down to 1/4 to 1/3 on the gauge. I also use synthetic oil, which runs cooler to begin with. Where is your temp gauge now?
