from eeuroparts. I bought a pair several years ago and installed them with new bushings. I held the scantech a-arms up against an oem set and could not visually see any difference. For 40K miles they have held up fine. I agee, I had some scantech ball joints which were worthless.
I wouldn't change the a-arms. As others suggested try rethreading the stud to a smaller size. Put the washer on against the shock and use two nuts on the shaft.
