I have done this switch out twice. The first time, I modified the driver's side (rigged it), and I think the passenger's seat wasn't a probem. Gary is so right. After years of winding my seats in order to get into the back seats, I chose to switch out the skins when I bought my next Saab. For this, I bought a 26 dollar upholstering tool and some upholstery clamps. It sounds intimidating now, but once you delve in, you seriously can't stop and it's kind of fun. Now on my third Saab, I see someone else did the same thing and opted not to use an upholstering tool and I have really loose looking buckled leather seats. Though still intact, they don't look great. Just so you know, once you've done this once, you own the tool and you can confidently remove your seat covers and bring them into a shop for mending. I did that recently also...cost me $10 dollars total for both seats as opposed to $100 for them to remove and mend. Yeh for me. Patti
