I removed the lower control (a-arm) arm and can see the end of the bushing protruding out from where it goes into the bracket. Everything is original from factory. The new one I have to install (oem Saab from eEuroparts) looks nothing like that. Both ends of the new one are much smaller. Does the end mushroom-out when pressed in or when the bracket is tighten up onto the arm itself?
Just want to make sure I have the correct bushings.
Also, with 130K miles, could these bushing be bad (should I assume them to be) or am I about to replace perfectly okay ones? I'm in the process of replacing ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings, and shocks. Car came from GA (southern car).
