The one that made the car idle poorly when cold was probably on its last legs. The ECU runs in "open loop" mode for the first few minutes, relying on the AMM and RPMs to calculate injector pulse width. After that, it included the O2 sensor and trims the pulse widths to control the mixture better.
IIRC, the -019 was specific to the LH 2.4.2. I remember looking at one and thinking that the bore was bigger than the -013. If that's the case, then it was probably feeding the ECU a signal that was too low for the amount of air that was actually going into the engine.
There was a thread several years ago about spraying some carb cleaner in to clean the sensing thermistor. The consensus in that thread was that there probably wasn't any harm in doing that, but it probably wasn't necessary.
I have a spare AMM that went bad a couple of years ago. Maybe I'll take it apart and see what kind of damage there is to it. Who knows, maybe it's just a cold solder joint :-)
