The upper section of the steering colunm (i.e.. area just below the steering wheel), has a brass ring which is rivetted to the plastic. You would see this section if the steering wheel was removed and you were looking straight down at the top of the steering shaft. On the inboard side of the column, is a single wire with a spade connector which slides onto that brass ring for the horn contact. The wheel has a spring mounted metal peg/contact, which 'rides' on the brass ring to complete the circuit. Be very careful, with the momo...I had to replace the top portion of my column after my ring got destroyed/worn away because the contact on my wheel was too hard. Even with an electrically conductive lubricant...it just 'chewed' up the ring. I had to go back and re-designed a better contact method, with softer sacrificial material. Be careful when you remove the wire from the ring, not to drop it. If this is a classic 900, you'll need to remove the lower facia after removing the center console to retrieve the wire if it came loose.
