I flush mine out every couple of years, using Castrol LMA DOT4 brake fluid, but still have frequent problems. On average they go maybe 2 to 3 years before the parking brake or inner piston seize up. (So in the last 20 years that I've been driving these cars I've replaced a *lot* of calipers!!) In contrast, most of the other cars I deal will go 10 to 15 years at a clip with no caliper troubles.

In fact the last time I went shopping for another 900, I swore up and down it would be a 1988 or later model just to get out from under all these brake problems, but my current 1986 900S was otherwise too good to turn down, so I'm still on the same old treadmill...
