that the upward force equal to the rear axle load of the car applied at the center of the axle produces roughly 16 times the bending moment of the same total force applied at the centerline of the tires.
The axle is designed to accommodate going over railroad tracks a lot. It is not designed to accommodate the weight of the rear of the car applied to the center of the rear axle.
C'mon guy. Don't mess with engineers.
