I had one that literally fell to pieces as the rear washer hose leaked all through it. As a replacement was not easy to find I dried it out and cleaned all the adhesives off with thinners (soak a cloth and lay over the material to be removed as the heavy fumes will soften sufficiently) and scuffed over with sand paper as necessary. I then coated with epoxy resin both sides then placed the 4-5 parts together lightly with epoxy and chopped strand mat, including reinforcing where cracked in the parts as well. I then just scuffed over it with sandpaper and it was stronger than others I'd removed in good condition as the material is quite porous so soaks up the epoxy and stiffens it overall. It took a few hours but i fast tracked curing with a heat gun. Advantage with epoxy is longer pot life than polyesters and rapid cure with heat.
