Greetings:

I'm looking for some assistance with T/S of my 1988 900 AC system.

The following areas have been checked.

Father-in-law checked refrigerant pressue.

Dash switch Verified as open when taking ground (Pin 4) to pin 5 with switch on and open when switch is off from pin 4 to pins 7 & 8.

30 amp fuse for AC in Main fuse panel good.

With AC dash switch on jumpered the Low pressure switch on Dryer tower no compressor engagement.

With AC dash switch on jumpered the Coolant temperture switch on Radiator return line by the distributor, no compressor engagement.

Checked the single input line to compressor case(ground), and only see +0.06 VDC. I think this should be 12-13.5 VDC??

Checked the input to the (component - diode?? - on top of the Seiko-Seiki compressor) to case ground and see less than 12 ohms with leads either way. If that is a diode, its bad.

The last item Bentley Manual has one check is the suppression diode in teh wiring harness by firewall. Can't seem to locate it unless its teh component on the top of compressor.

Request any assistance.
