Honest, don't touch anything or try improve a thing--don't even wax it. The idle thing was like an occassionally nagging tooth ache for like a year and a half. During that time nothing else went wrong (which is amazing for a twelve year old car)--until I fixed it. I think Saabs are a kind of metafore of how life is--it's never completely perfect and the harder you work to try to make it perfect the less perfect it becomes. It's only when you learn to accept life and the flaws that go with it that you find true happiness. That's what driving a Saab is like. When you finally realize that there will always besome little thing wrong and accept it, that is when you fine true automotive happiness, grasshopper.
