Burn marks on headliner

When sitting in my girlfriend's hatchback yesterday, I noticed what looked like a burn mark in the headliner, right where the C pillar fabric meets the roof fabric. It's on the passenger side. The only thing I can think of is it's something to do with the breather line for the fuel tank. I don't think there are any wires up on that side. Anyone know what this could be? Should we be worried? Thanks!
