I agree, I just put a new complete exhaust on mine and it was fine for a week, then, i was getting the familiar rattle and banging as well at idle and when first starting out (was worse). All i had to do is loosen the clamp at the rear of my muffler and twist the rear pipe so that the bend in the rear pipe that clears the axle was a bit farther away from the body of the car. (from the back of the car and facing it I twisted mine a bit to the left. I didn't even need to jack the car at all. If that doesn't clear it make sure the muffler hangs even, there isn't a ton of space in there. It's been fine ever since. good luck.
