Sometimes one broken alternator/waterpump belt takes all of the other belts with it when it goes.

How long did you drive with the alternator light on? Hopefully not more than a few hundred feet.

Now that everything has cooled back down, does the remaining belt turn both the waterpump and the alternator without squealing? If it does, then it shouldn't be a problem. But look carefully at it to make sure that there aren't any splits or missing chunks. If there are, you may want to find a local SAABer who might be interested in helping.
