Original Condition (test 1&2) 1990 SPG, 151k, fresh Castrol 10W30 and SAAB filter, plugs/cap/rotor/wires within 10k, original cat, engine warmed up.
Changes for Test 3: fresh Bosch o2 Sensor. I swapped the AMM from my 94 C900TC CE vert (same 013 AMM).
Changes for Test 4: Fresh mobil 1 10W30 and new SAAB filter. Regapped plugs. Set timing from 23 deg to 15 deg. Ran a tank with "Guaranteed to Pass" fluid, then put in a tank of 76 brand 87 octane (contains ethanol). Heated up the engine quite well, and took her in.
Anyway, I think I'm gonna have to buy a cat.
