Ahh, already I see the beginnings of a love/hate relationship!

These are, of course, great cars - but judging from the posts I've been reading it seems they tend to be finicky regarding emissions. After spending all day tooling around in my 'new' '94 convertible today, I pulled into my service station for the test - and failed!

This morning I replaced the exhaust system from the cat back (cat is still original) and did an oil change with Mobil 1 10W-30, filled her up with premium, and drove about 60 highway miles to 'burn everything off'. The previous owner had done a $2,000 service/tuneup about 10,000 miles ago - including new distributor, cap, wires, plugs, brakes, etc - but has not driven the car much since then (this tuneup was done 2.5 years ago)

The car only has 87,000 miles. Where do I go from here? Is there any way to narrow things down? She's at the garage overnight, waiting for a retest in the morning - at which point the guys there are going to start tearing into her and testing various parts at my expense! I assume there's nothing simple on these cars like a manual mixture adjustment....

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
