my windows wouldn't roll down, my head lights were dim, my wipers didnt work, the dashs lights worked when tey wanted to....
My problem was that were the battery is grounded to the frame, there is a second loop attached as well. This is were everything that is supposed to be ground gets grounded. Well when i inspected it, only 1 of the 12-13 wires was still attached. I ran to radioshack and picked up a bag of loops for $1.65 stripped the wires back and crimpped them, all of my problems were solved aside from the windows. It would also be the voltage reg in your alt. If you use a vise grip or a really stubby screwdriver you can get it out without removing the alt it's self. Good luck.
