Other members have posted about problems removing fuel pumps and needing a special tool. Some have spoken about using 2 pry bars to get it out. I have 1988 TC. I used a flexible screw driver and a crescent wrench and a ratchet. It was easy. Was there a change in design? I also pulled the fuel level sender with just a hammer and a ratchet extender (which I used to tap the ring around the fuel sender until it unscrewed in about 30 seconds). Am I confusing a different problem for this, was there a model or part change, or is something elso going on?
