i fitted my 88 900 rear speakers with an enlarger bracket, the bracket fits the old 4*8 speaker hole and gives the option to fit a 6*9, i found pioneer made a nice 300 watt 3 in one 6*9 speaker, 300 watts may be a little excessive, but the speaker gives me the option to install amp,s. i found the enlarger bracket at sound advice, but im sure if you where to visit any car audio shop they would carry it.
