Although it may sound like I need to steal someone's car, I really just need to get mine started to bring it to the local shop. The lock cylinder is broken and I've been starting it with a screw driver for the past week, until the inards of the broken unit got even more stripped out, leaving a screw driver useless. Would crossing two of the colored wires on the top of the ignition start the car? At that point, how would I turn it off when I get to the shop?
