Thanks to all the archived posts, it went fairly smoothly and I had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the car in the process. the next time I have to do this, it will take only half as long!- thanks inparticular to DougM who posted pictures a year ago or so that are still available, for locating the knee bolster bolts. I don't know how anyone could ever have removed the connector on the turn signal without removing the KB - even if you can reach the connector, how on earth to you pull it apart in that tiny space! A couple of things - my Bently calls them "nuts" they are definitely "bolts" one of which was definitely a scrounged replacement by some PO. Probably not a big deal to those in the know, but to amatures like me, things like this can throw you off. A simple set of instructions like remove the instrument pad *nuts* ....remove the instrument pad" is deceptively simple sounding, there is more adventure in these words that first apparent! Thanks to all on this board for your help - now I feel up to replacing the front motor mount!
