That reminds me of an important argument. My local guy cuts the thermostat out to allow the coolant to run wide open. Car runs below half untill I add the AC. Then it runs 2/3 to 3/4. So I asked a freind I trust and he tells me the condenser puts out alot of heat and the coolant runs past the coils too quickly not alowing the coils to do the job.
Is this true??
It was recominded to me to use a 160 degree thermo. Currently I am running a 180 degree running at just above half.
I have read wear running your Saab too cool cand cause some performance issues from the mass air flow sensor to the APC and ECM.
Very interesting subject.
