Any SAAB enthusiasts found any semi conventional wheels ie, 16x6 or 15x6.5 with the correct offset that will enhance the SAAB 900 look other than the overbearing bling blings found on most aftermarket wheel sites. most of current production wheels at ronal ,tsw seem to be modern wheels which really dont fit the look of the car or the particular requirements of c900. Most aftermarket wheels are simply too wide ie.7"- 7.5" for proper fitment with regard to limitations: wheel well, calipers etc.
I have read several posts of using Ford focus wheels with slight machining or spacer mods... Sounds interesting. Anyone have any luck contacting a wheel manufacturer to custom machine a blank wheel with correct hub center , lug spacing and dimensions. Any advice or input would be appreciated.... By the way I am an advocate of stock wheels(by Ronal)especially the super Aero! But the wheels that are too big or stick out too far at least that I have seen really are not an aesthetic improvement.tia jk
