A guy I usually trust to know alot about cars (he's an aircraft mechanic and always works on his own cars, has done some rallying, etc.), told me today that a Saab 900 with 150,000+ miles is "done", and "worn out", and a good way to spend alot of money. This seems to be the general public consensus of people that don't have Saabs. Is there some truth in this, or is it just lack of knowledge about the cars? That sort of bursted my bubble a little to hear that. I'm planning on taking it in to a saab mechanic to get a general overall tune-up, and then do the rest of my fixing in the future myself. I want it to be reliable.
