Will the 9K alt. work with the charging system of 12 volts for the battery in the 900? I suppose it ought to since the 9K most likely has the same charging volts as the late 900 classics. Is this correct? There are a few things I would swap for 9K upgrade parts including the alt.
The braking set is one inch larger rotors on the 9K from the later classic 900 right? So even going to a 9K brake set is an upgrade. And going to the 900 AERo/SPG/Turbo suspension is also an upgrade for the regular 900S. My 1993 900S would benefit from these swaps I believe. Then later on I can swap the engine and be closer to making a 900 Aero out of a 900S. An engine that has been upgraded a little to last for a long time of course. All without going overboard in costs.
