Search this forum key word "LPT" and follow the various links you will find in the relevant postings. There is a wealth of info on this subject: basically just assembling all the turbo associated equipment (complete that is) (I found ideally from an '88 or '89 900T with standard garrett as fitted those years) and fitting it to your 2.1 motor as is. It really is that simple (a straight bolt up) (if you have all the equipment particularly small fittings, bolts etc. say allow 12 _ 16 hours to convert, but importantly research and assemble all the items in advance). The stock 2.1 EZK ignition and knock protection functions fine including the fuelling. That is if modest boost is set by way of the wastegate or an after maket simplistic controller. Courtesy of the 2.1L compression I found 4- 5 psi gave a very nice even performance quite in excess of what people realize for that amount of boost. As with any turbo'd Saab you can only expect to maintain a level of boost that is essentially within each motors limit regarding knock etc. If you choose to extract higher output with reliability the only restriction is your willingness to spend hard earned cash. It can be achieved, its fun and rewarding and well worth doing. Cheers
