check out the hall effect plug carefully, it may look fine but the wire inside might be fried. there is so much heat around that area. i had a similar problem with my 86t, cutting out and stalling but starting after cooling off. rechecked all the ignition related parts and found out that one of the three prongs on the hall effect plug was pushed back just slightly 1/32" and not making contact. also the same wire had only a few strands still connected at the ignition module plug. i ran new wire from hall effect plug to module plug and all went fine. check the wiring diagram in haynes or bentley if that helps. 86t c900/'98 9kcset
